We love this wine, a result of our grower Heather’s commitment to her vineyard, crop thinning not once but twice producing a beautifully perfumed Shiraz - a cool year has helped to highlight the aroma and spice.

The artwork on this label is by Sally Blake, a remarkable artist from Canberra whose phd studied how different fabrics absorb plant or food dyes with a particular interest in Eucalyptus. Our region has the most incredibly ancient Red Gums, with large canoe scars from when this country was swamp land. Heather gathered leaves from trees on her property and Sally crafted the fabric tapestry that you see on our label. Each piece of fabric soak up the plant dyes in unique ways, giving several different tones from each dye. This tapestry is a beautiful representation of our region and our connection to country.
